What a fantastic run! Although the Opening Night was flawless, the cast improved each night. Each show was fascinating. This is the first time I've been involved with a theater production and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Friday, May 8th was Opening Night for The One-Eyed Man is King. And, although I am being biased here, the cast pulled it off flawlessly. All actors were in perfect sync with nary a line missed (Andi told me later that there were some forgotten lines, but it was definitely not noticeable). The lighting and sound was excellent.

Tech Week started with an insanely busy Sunday, during which the cast & crew loaded the set into the Phoenix Theatre. This is the most complex stage every assembled for a Triple Shot Productions performance. The whole day has been a blur of activity. Everyone pitched in to bring the set in from Martinez and the rehearsal studio in SOMA.

ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI - Triple Shot Productions (TSP) caught up with Carter W. Lewis in his office at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. The One-Eyed Man is King had an extremely successful opening in 1998 and was later published as one of the top ten plays of that year. This past Tuesday evening was my first time "running book" for the cast during a "stumble through." As I have learned, a "stumble through" is the term for the first full run-though of the performance. "Running book" means to follow the written script and give actors their lines if they call for them.

This was the first time that I saw the performance and I think it's going to be a great one.
